Findlay Auto Post Falls is seeking a part-time Intern to assist in the Marketing Department. This internship entails graphic design and developing various elements essential for the growth of the organization. This individual generally works under Marketing Director and carries out several tasks to facilitate campaign drives for the organization.

Gain valuable experience using Adobe CC programs Photoshop, Premier Pro, and After Effects. We have our own in-house ad agency setting where we create print and digital media.

This is a unique position where you will gain a lot of valuable hands-on experience. A previous graphics design intern landed a nice full-time position using the experience she gained here.

Findlay Post Falls has 3 new car lots, 5 brands (Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, and Nissan), 5 websites, and social profiles for each. We produce all our own TV commercials, print, and digital media.

Findlay was voted Best Auto Dealer for 2015 and 2016.

Note: This is an unpaid internship. You may receive college credit, contact your academic counselor for details. You will gain valuable marketing skills, a reference for your resume and opportunities to add to your portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Graphic Design
  • Video Editing
  • Assisting in writing and editing sales and marketing materials
  • Updating the Findlay Post Falls websites using Content Management System
  • Assisting in promotional development
  • Other duties assigned

Skills and Specifications:

Findlay Nissan has an immediate opening for a new and used car lot porters. Responsible for stocking in cars and keeping the lot maintained. This is a full time position mornings/afternoon/evenings and weekends. Majority of work is outside in all weather conditions. Looking for someone with a great attitude and the drive to succeed and advance. Must have a good driving record, be 18 or older, and have experience driving with manual transmissions.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Automotive Technician (Automotive Mechanic), you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and must be a persistent problem solver. We are determined to grow our employees to their full potential. With that being said, we pay for your ongoing training and certifications year round. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as a Quality Automotive Technician:

  • Automotive technicians / auto mechanics perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or manufacturer standards
  • ASE Certified automotive technicians / auto techs diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, trim, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
  • Automotive technicians / automotive mechanics provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
  • Certified automotive technicians / auto techs diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, trim, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
  • Auto techs / automotive technician explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
  • Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
  • All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
  • Document work performed.
  • Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician, keeping in mind that the customer vehicle should not be used for personal errands.
  • Supervise work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.
  • Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
  • Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
  • Ensure that customers’ cars are kept clean.
  • Keep shop area neat, clean, and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times.
  • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
  • Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
